Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Totteco (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Apple Standard License

The App is distributed through the App Store and is subject to the Apple Media Services Terms, which take precedence over these Terms. These Terms supplement that agreement.

2. License

You are granted a non-exclusive right to download and use the App on compatible devices linked to your Apple ID, for personal use only. You may not copy, redistribute, modify, or commercially use the software and assets bundled with the App (UI elements, default assets, app icons, etc.) beyond ordinary use of the App. This section does not apply to User Content you register or create yourself (see Section 3).

3. User Content

  1. Photos taken and edited within the App, registered frame assets, and similar content ("User Content") belong to you.
  2. User Content is stored on-device only. It is not transmitted to any server operated by Totteco.
  3. We do not access or view your User Content. You are responsible for managing it.
  4. You may freely publish, share, and use your User Content on any medium, including social media and the web. If your User Content includes works, likenesses, or trademarks of third parties (for example, transparent assets distributed by others), you are responsible for checking and complying with the usage terms set by the rights holder or distributor. Totteco is not liable for any disputes that arise with third parties in this context, and you must resolve them on your own.

4. In-App Purchases

  1. The App offers the following in-app purchases (IAP):
    • Remove Ads (one-time): Hides the banner ad on the photo library screen. Can be restored using the same Apple ID.
    • Tips (consumable): Optional payments to support development. They do not unlock any features, and are not eligible for restoration.
  2. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment, receipts, and refunds are governed by Apple's policies.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following Google LLC services. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  1. Decompile, reverse engineer, modify, or unlawfully duplicate or distribute the App, its software, or its assets;
  2. Use the App in a way that violates laws, public order, or the rights of others (including copyright, image rights, and privacy);
  3. Disrupt the operation of the App or exploit any vulnerabilities;
  4. Use the App for commercial purposes in bulk.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

  1. The App is provided "as is." Totteco makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, safety, or continuous availability of the App.
  2. Totteco is not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. Totteco is not liable for loss, corruption, or leakage of User Content. Please back up important data regularly.

8. Changes to or Termination of Service

Totteco may change, suspend, or terminate the App without prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

Totteco may change these Terms without individual notice when deemed necessary. Changes take effect when posted on this page.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute related to the App shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
